Pittsburgh DUI Patrols, Checkpoints Coming This Weekend

PITTSBURGH -- City police will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and roving DUI patrols in Pittsburgh this weekend.

The patrols and checkpoints will be held in the South Hills area from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., police said.

Police are not required to say specifically where their activity will be focused.

Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs is urged to call a taxi, use mass transit or call a sober friend or relative to get them home.
